Morph: innovative weaving technique and rhythm in textiles
Rhythm collection 2025 by Kendix
Morph is part of Kendix’s Rhythm collection 2025. With this collection, Kendix introduces a fresh approach to textile design, placing movement, rhythm and repetition at the centre. The collection features four designs: Morph, Swing, Nonstop en Pleat. This article highlights Morph, a fabric distinguished by its innovative weaving technique and strong visual impact.
What makes the Morph fabric unique?
Morph is created from a graphic design built on four contrasting weft colours. These colours are woven together in a carefully considered way, producing a vibrant, dynamic interplay with a strong changerend effect that shifts continuously with changes in light and perspective.
The rhythmic block pattern evokes traditional glasswork, layered, crafted and refined. The complex interaction between warp and weft, combined with matte and glossy yarns, creates subtle colour transitions and a captivating sense of depth. As a result, Morph never appears static; the design responds to its surroundings, blending graphic precision with tactile richness. This makes the fabric particularly well-suited for contemporary interiors.
Innovation as a guiding principle
with the Rhythm Collection 2025, Kendix demonstrates how innovative weaving techniques and thoughtful deisng can come together to create textiles with lasting visual impact. Morph is a key piece within the collection: a fabric in which movement, colour and structure converge naturally into a contemporary and expressive textile statement.
