During Dutch Design Week 2025 in Eindhoven, Kendix was part of the group exhibition “Finished Forms”, curated and designed by Sanne Kaal.
Finished Forms: The Residence
The exhibition at the NRE site presents a fully furnished living environment where functional design meets aesthetics, with a strong focus on material and form.
More than a collection of furniture, lighting or objects, “The Residence” embodies a way of living, an experience in which every detail, from form and colour to texture and light, contributes to a home-like environment that is both inviting and tangible. This approach aligns seamlessly with Kendix’s design philosophy.
Within this concept, Kendix fabrics bring atmosphere, rhythm and refinement to the space. The textiles used in the exhibition (Topaz, Kwik and Opus) each reveal a distinct dimension of layering, transparency and movement: a translation of the Kendix design philosophy into textiles.

Opus — Natural rhythm and refined transparency
An elegant, transparent leno-woven sheer with a subtle sheen in deep tones. Slub yarns lend it a natural, lively character with a refined texture. Available in seven colourways. -
Topaz — Soft colour gradients that flow through the interior
An ultra-light, subtly lustrous fabric with a digitally printed colour gradient—like a soft, colourful cloud in the interior. The gradient moves from a deep, intense hue at the bottom to a lighter tone at the top. A true eye-catcher that still blends effortlessly into the space. Available in four colourways. -
Kwik — Subtle movement and metallic refinement
A jacquard-woven design that evokes a digital metallic effect of near-shifting layers, subtly revealed through the fabric’s transparency. As you move past the curtain, the pattern comes to life—refined yet distinctly present.
